Hi Andy,
Just got the guitar back at the weekend and absolutely love it!
Thank you so much for doing such an excellent job!
The things I noticed were….
lovely copper colour of the new strings which suit the neck colour
re-discovery of bass notes – I hadn’t noticed but the guitar had lost them as the original strings aged
amazing slinky feel on the neck, I don’t know what its been cleaned with or polished with but my fingers just glide around it
smooth frets – these newly profiled ones are soo un-obtrusive
tension on the strings – the consistent tension in the strings makes it easier to control the sounds that it is making
the invisible fretboard repair – so good I couldn’t even see where it was repaired
So all in all I’m delighted!
regards
james

Andy has done a couple of refurbishment, re-fretting and setups for me on both acoustic and electric guitars and cannot be faulted for craftsmanship and value.
If you need anything from a setup on a new guitar to a repair of a much-loved and used guitar then don’t hesitate to contact him.

I took my Gibson along to the Guitar Doctor after finding that we have a service like this in Lowestoft. And I was more than happy with the result. The guitar hadn’t been out of its case for at least two years as it was in no fit state to gig with and now its been given a new life for a very reasonable price. To see the photos of the work that was in progress check out his facebook page it speaks for itself.
